MAFI is divided into two business areas. MSS which works directly towards telecom operators and MIS which works towards telecom/infrastructure vendors.

MAFI has expanded in a very fast pace the last years and the expansion is expected to continue with standardization and high-quality products as success factors. In order to further support existing customers as well as fuel the expansion in the North American market, MAFI now seeks a Vice President Sales for MAFI US.


Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relations with Key Stakeholders and increase sales towards the main Telecom Operators in the North American market
  • Actively participate in global change network forums
  • Provide perspective of what will and will not work within MSS
  • Ensure adoption, workforce, sales business performance and other KPIs are tracked and adhered to. 
  • Draw insights from detailed analysis to drive the right culture and behaviors. Define & proactively drive KPIs and focus on new business opportunities
  • Conduct in-depth discussions with the stakeholders & analyze business environments, technical requirements, plans & issues
  • Create visibility to generate & manage leads to increase sales funnel size and quality
  • Develop & deliver presentations including solution roadmap, value argumentations & business cases towards senior stakeholders
  • Recruit, manage, teach, coach, challenge and develop individuals, teams and organizations, fostering a creative and learning culture


Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor/Master of Business Administration, Science or similar
  • 3+ years of business development/sales and operational excellence knowledge required in leadership and sales related positions
  • Preferred to have experience working with sales towards larger companies in the telecoms industry, e.g. Mobile Operators, Vendors, Construction companies, etc.
  • Clear interest in technology with the connection to sales and business
  • Relevant experience of delivery and project management towards large customers
  • Experience working in a direct customer-facing role with related pre-sales responsibilities is required
  • Excellent communication skills, teamplayer-attitude and ability to build a trustworthy and lasting relationship with Customer Units and other internal organizations is necessary for this position
  • Problemsolving & strategic thinking
  • Solid negotiation & argumentation skills
  • Expert business understanding and strong business acumen
  • Familiar with Agile ways of working


The Opportunity: 

The global team will support MAFI US by successfully driving key sales and commercial initiatives across various business and customer units in a collaborative manner. The ideal candidate for this role will lead the change in the region. The appointed person will be accountable for rolling out adoption strategies of working, process and enabling platforms (based on change impact analysis). Significant time will be spent in building up the MAFI Support Solution i North America. 


Work Environment:

  • The employee will be based in Dallas, Texas. The work environment characteristics are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a typical office/workstation situation.
  • Ability to travel, as required
