Pressmaster develop and manufacture high quality crimping and cable termination tooling for professionals in electrical, electronic, optical, and other applications. We offer professional commitment and teamwork all the way from our regional sales office to product development and manufacturing. Confidentially and mutual trust are key. We work in close partnership with many of the world´s leading connector manufacturers and distributors.

Pressmaster has expanded the last years and the expansion is expected to continue with our high-quality products as success factors. In order to further support existing customers as well as fuel the expansion on the European market, Pressmaster now seeks an Area Sales Manager. 



As an Area Sales Manager you will plan and implement direct marketing and sales activities in accordance with Pressmaster’s overall sales strategy, in Europe. Principal focus will be the regions of Sweden, UK, France and Italy where the largest customer installed base is, but also explore other countries.

You will also:

  • Work with the products in a solution-oriented manner.
  • Build strong relations with Key Stakeholders and increase sales towards them.
  • Negotiate, review and propose customer contracts for approval.
  • Ensure adoption, workforce, sales business performance and other KPIs are tracked and adhered to. 
  • Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions for the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
  • Define & proactively drive KPIs and focus on new business opportunities. 
  • Research new product development possibilities.
  • Create visibility to generate & manage leads to increase sales funnel size and quality.


Key Qualifications: 

As a Sales Manager you need to be able to understand technical contexts and be responsive to customer needs in the short and long term. To be successful in this position we believe that you have: 

  • Experience in Business Development and sales of the design and manufacture of steel components
  • Education: Bachelor/Master of Business Administration, Science or similar 
  • Business development/sales and operational excellence knowledge required in leadership and sales related positions 
  • Good knowledge in MS Office
  • Fluent in Swedish and English (additional languages relevant to the area would be an advantage)
  • Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations. Must be a very competent writer of business letters, quotations and proposals.
  • Relevant experience of delivery and project management towards large customers 
  • Experience working in a direct customer-facing role with related pre-sales responsibilities is required 
  • Excellent communication skills, team player-attitude and ability to build trustworthy and lasting relationship with Customer Units and other internal organizations is necessary for this position 
  • Problem solving & strategic thinking 
  • Expert business understanding and strong business acumen 
  • Familiar with Agile ways of working 


The Opportunity: 

The global team will support you by successfully driving key sales and commercial initiatives across various business and customer units in a collaborative manner. The ideal candidate for this role will lead the change in the region. The appointed person will be accountable for rolling out adoption strategies of working, process and enabling platforms (based on change impact analysis).  


Work Environment: 

  • The employee will preferentially be based in Sweden, either from home or our Älvdalen office
  • Ability to travel, as required
